Hey everyone! It’s been quite a while since I wrote a blog post. I started law school in August and adjusting to that was much harder than I anticipated and got in the way of me writing. Next thing I knew, finals passed me by and winter break was here with New Year’s Eve being around the corner. It goes without saying that this year hasn’t been a very consistent year for me and blogging. Between working 50 hour weeks in the beginning of the year, to my Nana passing away, traveling out of the country, and starting school, my blog definitely took a backseat in the ride of my crazy life. However, I did have some posts that I really enjoyed writing so this post is dedicated to highlighting my top 3 favorite posts of 2018.
25 Things I’ve Learned In 25 Years
I wrote this post right before my 25th birthday and I have kept these lessons in mind throughout the year. If you are in your late teens or early twenties, this is good post to read as you figure out your life and develop your values.
Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Blogging
I had the most fun writing this post because I got to reflect on my journey as a lifestyle blogger. While I’m by no means an expert, this post is extremely useful for those who have considered starting a blog or any creative endeavor in the social media world (youtube, podcast, etc.)
4 Podcasts You Need To Listen to Right Now
Sharing things that I love with my readers is one of favorite things to do! This post will expand your horizons to some dope podcasts that I love to listen to. One thing to note: Think & Grow Chick Podcast has changed to The Courtney Sanders Podcast due to Courtney re-branding. I haven’t listened to it since then so I have some catching up to do. Also, since this post I have been featured on The PlotTwist Podcast (which I wrote about here and you can listen to HERE)
This winter break I’m focusing on creating content that I enjoy AND that my readers will enjoy reading. Blogging is a never-ending learning experience and I’m happy that I get to spend some time with my blog over the next few weeks.
What kind of content would you like to see me write about in 2019? Let me know in the comments below!
